C5 Corvette Exterior. Do you have a question about an exterior component of your Corvette? Do you want to install a front license plate bracket, headers.
I have some wind noise on my drivers side and read thru the tip-in and height adjustment instructions. The tip-in was super easy but after 4 counter clockwise turns it still has some noise so i would like to raise the window just a slight amount. Luis miguel discografia completa torrent.
The problem is i see no 18mm screw to do this under either the small plug at the front of the door nor the rear plug. At the rear plug with the window down i do see a small (maybe) 6mm hexagon screw that's connected to the glass assembly. At the front there is nothing at all, not under the smaller plug anyway. Anyone have pics that could help me out? BTW: I fixed the creaking sound in the rear trunk area. It was the loudest noise made by the car and finally i found that the right side 'latch catch' (best name i could think of) was adjusted so it made the trunk too tight when closed. Took the carpet patch that has the rear light in it out, loosened the 3 bolts and moved the latch catch just a little upwards and tightened.
No more noise. OK, Ignore the posters telling you to pull the door apart. I can't find any pics showing the adjusters but i guarantee you 100% that there are adjuster screws accessible when you remove the 2 plugs on the bottom of the door. They are a reverse TORX, same as the end of the tip-in screw. I'm pretty sure what you're describing is the rear one so you found it. As for the front. Try raising the window a bit and I think you'll find it by looking towards the rear of the hole.

At any rate, it's there but it's not sticking out in the open right above the hole easy to see so just look harder. There are a slotted holes on the regulator where you can make major adjustments but why would anyone pull the door panel to tweak the window when it's not necessary? The bump stops Ranger24 mentions are on the other end of the screws you can access from the bottom of the door. OK, Ignore the posters telling you to pull the door apart.
